Given the continuing impact of the COVID pandemic and the resulting shortage of staff we have made the difficult decision to temporarily restrict the volume of services offered across our cemeteries. This decision has not been taken lightly and has been undertaken so Catholic Cemeteries +Crematoria can continue to operate safely for our community and staff.
As of Tuesday, 18th January 2022 the following will apply
Liverpool Condolence Room
The condolence room will be closed to all after funeral functions bookings. Any existing bookings this week will proceed, however this facility will be closed for future bookings.
Rookwood, Liverpool and Kemps Creek Offices
All our offices will be closed to the public. Our phone and online channels remain fully operational to assist with any enquiries.

Restriction of the number of Burial Services
In our Eastern Region (Rookwood and North Rocks Cemeteries) burial services will be restricted to Monday – Friday with a maximum limit of 5 burial services across both sites per day.
In our Western Region (Liverpool and Kemps Creek Cemeteries) burial services will be restricted to Monday – Friday with a maximum limit of 2 burial services at each site per day.
We appreciate this is a challenging time for everyone, and we thank you for your understanding as we continue to adapt our services to meet the resourcing challenges that the pandemic presents.
